This Kitchen was completely rebuilt as part of the restoration after lightning struck the home, causing extensive fire and water damage throughout the property. What was once a heavily damaged area has been transformed into a functional space in the home.

The previous cabinetry and countertops have been upgraded to custom oak-stained cabinetry crafted by McKee Millworks and durable quartz surfaces. Additional cabinets were added along the right side to expand storage, and a wall was removed to open the space up, creating a clear sightline through to the living room. The ceiling soffits were removed as well, opening up the overhead space and giving the kitchen a much more open and airy feel. We removed the existing tile flooring and installed new hardwood floors to match the updated finishes throughout the home. The homeowners elevated the space by adding the warming drawer next to the oven.
